Pinterest Ideas for Brownie Balls

Brownie Balls are probably one of my new favorite sweet treats that are quite fun,
and super simple to make.
The grandkids always enjoy this project... hope you enjoy them too!

Approx 1 hour  ||  Makes 30 Mini Brownie Balls per 9x9 Tray

1 Box of Brownie Mix + ingredients per package
Bakers Chocolate Bars {Chocolate or White}
Wilton's Chocolate Melts (Circle Colored Candy Melts)
1 can {you will only use a few scoops}of vanilla frosting

Prepare brownie mix as directed on packaging. Remove promptly after baking and break apart with a fork in a large bowl. Add a small scoop {start with small scoops} of frosting at a time into the brownie mix to help the mixture stick together. You don't want it too gooey,  just enough to hold it together. Shape the mixture into larger "marble sized" balls. Place balls on cookie sheet lined with wax paper. After all the balls are made, place the tray into the freezer to harden them. Meanwhile, begin to melt the chocolates. In a bowl, microwave chocolates on low heat for 30 seconds at a time, stirring occasionally. When brownie balls are frozen, drop the balls, one by one into the chocolate mixture, coat well, and return to the tray and refreeze. After the chocolate has hardened, you can store them in the fridge, eat them all up, or, add a decorative layer. They can be served on a stick, or not. There are lots of cute ideas like rolling around in more frosting, adding sparkles-whatever you would like, it makes them look a little more special especially if they are for a particular holiday. My friend loves to make the red velvet ones for Valentines Day. They are simply to die for delicious. Try it, it's a little messy, but lot's of fun can be had with this one folks! I added some pics I found on the internet for some ideas for you!
