:: About Courage ::

I think the last few years have been some of the toughest, most painful, heart-busting, faith building, exhilarating, creative, and most freeing periods that I have personally ever experienced in my life. Life really is nothing more and nothing less than a journey in courage. You must possess an awful lot of courage to follow your heart in spite of what your mind and your feelings are telling you. Then, added to that mix is the faith to do what is right and true for you, and to be willing to do whatever it takes because you simply must. Ultimately, though, courage has little to do with heroics, and everything to do with all the little choices you make every moment of every day of your life.

Our minds seem to race every day with "worst case scenarios" and "what ifs" as we tend to let our imaginations run wild. Then, of course, we believe what we imagined, as if it were real and certain. We forget who we are. Those are the times we must really summon the courage to be our own hero, because it is in these very moments that you will take that leap of faith {because you know in your heart you simply must} that you find out who you are and what you are made of. And, consciously or not, it is in these moments that you invite the powers to be to meet you with the gifts and the blessings that are yours to claim. After all, you have everything you need within you. Just trust. Be fierce with your passion and stand in your strength. Within you is the power to rise above any struggle and transform it into the brightest and strongest version of yourself possible. Is it really this easy? I'm afraid so. It is only ourselves and our own made up fears that prevent us from achieving anything and everything we want. That's really tough to hear isn't it? It's ok. It's hard for me too. But, we really are going to work on this one. It's really going to be worth it in the end.
