:: Another new project ::

I've always wanted to learn how to bleach a shirt and I have found a couple of sites with some very helpful hints that I wanted to share with you as well! First, is a DIY recipe for the bleach itself which I found HERE.  Next, here are some examples of shirts with tutorials!

Also from the pages of Hey Wanderer Blog the DIY Bleach Stamp Pad

DIY Bleach Doodles T-Shirt Using the Clorox Bleach Pen. There have been other tutorials using the Clorox Bleach Pen, but none that offered such good advice, or did such a great job of drawing on a T-Shirt. Instructions are from the site: Vitamin C…A Daily Dose of Creativity here. This is some of Kim’s advice using the bleach pen n a shirt (more advice on her site):
the bleach can be applied in a thick line (see above where I started with a thick line), or a thinner line

If you apply the bleach and let it dry on the shirt, the bleaching will be complete and the lines will be white
If you apply the bleach and rinse it off after 10 minutes or so, some of the shirt’s color will remain
This DIY is using a Clorox Bleach pen! Tutorial found HERE on True Blue me and you

They all look so good, each in their own way, it will be hard to decide which to try first. I really love all the intricate patterns you can create with a bleach pen, but I'm sure it is time consuming and room to make lots of error, but, I'd love to try anyway... maybe it's actually both easy and fun! We'll see!
